Lithuanian Post will use the electromobile

On 19 April, Lithuanian Post presented the electromobile, which is used by employees of the company. According to estimations of the company such a vehicle will be cost-effective and will save several thousand LTL per year.

Minister of Transport and Communications Eligijus Masiulis expressed his satisfaction that Lithuanian Post contributes to the popularisation of ecological transport, together reducing expenditure of the company activities.  

 

“Lithuanian Post is most probably the first company in Lithuania, the employees of which have shifted from traditional gasoline or dieseline-driven vehicles to the environmentally-friendly electromobile. When such solution will prove a success, I do hope such vehicles will appear in other companies’ car fleets as well“, said Minister Masiulis.
