The Government reduced port charges at Šventoji port

The Cabinet of Ministers newly approved lower port charges at Šventoji port.

It has been agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture and fishermen that for fishing-boats, the owners and managers of which have a contract with the Port Authority at least for one month, the discount for monthly charges should be reduced to 80% applied.

For port use the owners of ships not exceeding 6 metres will pay up to 40 LTL, and for ships from 6.01 metres length to 10 metres – the sum will be 60 LTL. For longer than 10 metres ships the charge will be 80 LTL. Correspondingly the monthly charges will make 500 LTL, 700 LTL and 1000 LTL.

The maximum amount of port charges for a particular ship can be reduced to 50%.
